TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings. Please contact Sarah if you have any questions or if any elements are unclear to you and she will explain them specific to your circumstance. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable or transferable.

Travel & Location:

Travel fees apply to all on-location bookings and begin at $150, depending on the distance from the service location. The exact travel cost will be confirmed when responding to your enquiry. Parking is included in travel fees and is NOT an extra cost for the day.

Appointment Times:

Standard service hours are Monday to Sunday between 7:00am and 5:00pm.

Appointments scheduled outside of these hours incur an additional out-of-hours fee starting from $100, which applies to both service time and travel where relevant.

Public holidays will incur a 15% surcharge, calculated on the final invoice total.

Service Minimums:

A minimum booking of three full makeup services is required for on-location bridal bookings, with a maximum of six services per booking.

Interstate & International Bookings:

Bookings outside of Victoria are available at a daily rate of $2000. All associated travel costs, including flights, accommodation, and reasonable expenses, must be arranged and covered by the client in addition to the daily rate.

Securing Your Date:

Wedding dates are only secured once a 50% deposit has been received. This deposit is non-refundable and confirms the services and date requested.

Holding a Date:

For me to tentatively secure me for your wedding date, I would advise either of these two options:

1. If you are wanting to do a trial first before paying the 50% wedding deposit, if you can book a trial in within the next 2 weeks I am more than happy to tentatively hold your wedding date.

2. If you want to do a trial closer to the wedding we can do this too but to secure your wedding date a 50% deposit will need to be placed. Please note, trials are limited to Tuesday-Fridays between business hours, however, if my schedule permits it, I will always be more than willing to try best accommodate where possible.

Payment Terms:

A 50% deposit is required to secure your wedding booking and may be paid either before or after your bridal trial. The remaining balance must be finalised one week prior to the wedding date if making digital payment, otherwise it can be paid on the day with exact cash in an envelope.

Trial Appointment Location:

All trial appointments will take place at 20 Holmes Street, Moonee Ponds, unless otherwise advised.

Bookings & Payments:

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date and time.

  • All deposits and booking payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • In the event of a natural disaster or State/National pandemic lockdown, bookings may be rescheduled once within 12 months from the original date.

  • If Sarah Peart is unwell, contagious, or hospitalised, you will be offered a full refund or, if preferred, she will assist in locating another makeup artist with a similar style to fulfil your booking.

  • If travel to the job location is deemed unsafe due to bushfires, floods, or similar circumstances, the same refund or replacement artist option will apply.

Booking Time Finality:

Once your appointment is booked and confirmed, the time slot cannot be changed. This includes adjustments to the scheduled start time or requests to move your appointment to a different time or day. Please ensure your availability before booking to avoid disappointment. If you need to change your booking time outside of operational hours, eg. early mornings, this may result in an additional fee.

On the day of your appointment, any additional services requested will increase the total cost.

Please note: Due to high demand and strict time allocations, bookings cannot be amended to reduce the number of people originally scheduled. If you wish to add services, please contact Sarah in advance —add-ons are subject to availability and will incur a surcharge.

Changes to Services:

Once a booking has been confirmed, the number of services included in the booking cannot be reduced. Additional services may be added if time and availability allow.

The service total agreed upon at the time of booking will remain payable, even if fewer services are required closer to the event date.

Studio Appointments – Arrival:

Due to limited space, clients are kindly asked to attend alone. Friends or family members may wait in the car or nearby cafes/shopping centres. There is a 10 minute grace period for each booking, after being 10 minutes or more late, the booking is cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.

Allergies & Health:

It is the client’s responsibility to inform Sarah of any allergies (e.g., to cosmetic ingredients, hair products, food) prior to the appointment and again in person.

Please note:

  • While every care is taken, Sarah cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

  • Clients with anaphylaxis or severe allergies must bring any required emergency medication, including an EpiPen if needed.

  • Clients with anaphylaxis or severe allergies MUST bring their own lip combo for touch ups.

COVID-19 Policy:

By booking with Sarah Peart, you confirm that on the day of your appointment:

  • You do not have any flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of smell/taste), no matter how mild.

  • You have not been instructed to isolate or quarantine for any of the following reasons:

    • You are a close contact of a COVID-positive person

    • You are awaiting COVID test results

    • You have returned from overseas in the past 7 days

    • You live with someone who is COVID-positive

    • You have tested positive for COVID in the past 7 days
